Police said Stephen Olszewski, 37, of 13 Ella Circle, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to return a license, driving with a suspended license and failure to illuminate headlights.

Police said that Vaughn Allen, 43, of 32 Cambridge Ave., was accused of backing into a parked vehicle in the Quick Stop parking lot and then fleeing the scene.

Allen was stopped a short distance away and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI), evading responsibility, unsafe backing, driving without insurance and driving without a license.

According to the report, Richard Scanlon, no age given, of 1125 Windward Road, was accused of causing an accident and fled the scene. When police arrived, witnesses had blocked Scanlon's car in the Xpect Discounts parking lot.

According to police, Peter Arabolos, 28, of 561 Washington St., West Haven, was accused of striking a female companion in the face causing injury and disconnecting the telephone when she attempted to call police.

Police said Stefany Gonzalez, 16, of 125 Ferry St., Keyanna Haynes, 17, of 11 Vernon St., and Nanny6 Griffin, 16, of 341 Howard Ave., were accused of taking $1,563 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Police stopped the car, driven by Chris Mickolyzck, 18, of 16 Magellen Drive, and reportedly found both teens with open alcohol containers. Investigation revealed that Veres was in possession of eight Xanax pills, marijuana and a fraudulent ID card.
